Narrative
Three Rivers is a Clinically Intensive Residential Program” (CIRT). It is the most intensive residential treatment setting provided by Massachusetts for children under 13 years of age. It is also the only CIRT in the state. It offers a safe, nurturing sanctuary and healing experience to children ages 6-12 years old with severe emotional and behavioral challenges.
During the time that a child lives at the program we work to help them and their family. They can grow in the ability to enjoy positive and helpful relationships, manage stress and challenging feelings, participate in school and daily routines. They can recognize and champion their own values and strengths.
