Narrative

Losing a loved one to suicide is a painful and difficult experience. Samaritans is here to offer suicide loss survivors nonjudgmental listening and peer support. We provide many programs to support survivors in their grieving.

Our Suicide Grief Support Services offers virtual programs. Participants have joined virtual meetings from all over the country to connect with their peers for comfort and shared understanding.

Everyone is welcome regardless of race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, economic status and other diverse backgrounds.

In-person SafePlace meetings for anyone who has experienced a loss to suicide will resume on the last Tuesday of every month. These meetings offer a chance for suicide loss survivors to heal together in community.
