Narrative

We welcome kids and adults of all ages and abilities to participate in any of our Concord Recreation programs.

To help visually see programs that are just for people with disabilities, please look for the inclusion logo throughout the brochure.

• If a program is notated as an adaptive program, we still welcome people WITHOUT disabilities to join in. Siblings, aides and classmates welcome!

• As a Department, we know that the experience that takes place within these classes are open to different learning styles and accommodations. These classes will typically have fewer members, more breaks, and visual schedules, when possible.

• As a Department, we ask parents to be proactive upon registration. Identify that their child may need extra help. We want to assure we are prepared to work with your child and to effectively manage the program as a whole. You will be asked to fill out an intake assessment.
