Network Members Agree To…
- provide free information and referral to people with disabilities, including that for programs and services outside their organization
- accept information-and-referral inquiries referred by INDEX and by other MNIP members
- annually update their organization’s information on the DisabilityInfo.org website
- immediately notify INDEX of changes in their organization’s contact information, executive director, and/or location
Network Members are encouraged to…
- let the public know that their organization is a member of the MNIP (e.g., display, on their website and/or literature, the MNIP logo and a link to the DisabilityInfo.org website)
- sign up for training about finding information on INDEX’s DisabilityInfo.org website
- sign up and be active members of Support Conference, the Network‘s online forum for information and referral specialists
- notify INDEX of resources (programs, dentists, physicians & consultants) not listed on the Disabilityinfo.org website
- subscribe to the “INDEX” electronic newsletter
- “like” INDEX on Facebook and folow INDEX on Twitter (if applicable)
