Our Place is a safe haven where people with disabilities can come and have coffee, play cards, talk with the staff counselor, etc. Consumers have parties, dances, classes on different crafts, and other various activities. It is a great place to socialize and to meet with friends in a supportive atmosphere.
There is also our “Focus on Independent Living” newsletter which is published quarterly. It contains information about the happenings within our agency, and changes made in various programs and services that would or will affect the community.
We also provide ADA regulations, building codes and info on types of funding to help people make their homes accessible.
