Organization Narrative
Independence Associates is a community-based, consumer-controlled nonprofit organization that provides a comprehensive program of direct care, advocacy and community services intended either to empower individual consumers of Independence Associates with services to achieve their own goals or to eliminate discrimination and other barriers to independent living.

Any person who has a disability is eligible for services. For Personal Care Attendant Services, the consumer must have MassHealth and meet MassHealth’s eligibility requirements.
