Organization Narrative
Provides information and resources for persons with brain injury, their families and caregivers, and professionals. Professional listings of brain injury specialists. BIA-MA sponsors over 30 support groups across the state for survivors of brain injury and their families. Prevention and educational programs aimed at reducing brain injuries; encourages the establishment of rehabilitation programs for people with brain injury. Advocates for legislative funding of brain injury programs.

Population(s) Served
Persons with acquired brain trauma resulting from injury externally caused from falls, car crashes, assault, etc.. Also serves injuries due to stroke, aneurysm, anoxia and other conditions which effect cognitive functions.
